Unknown Realm: Indie RPG wants more money after Kickstarter, shows nothing of the game

The indie role-playing game Unknown Realm was successfully funded by a Kickstarter campaign in early 2017 and should have been released at the end of 2017. Now the team said it would need more money to complete, but shows absolutely nothing about the RPG.

The indie role-playing game Unknown Realm is supposed to revive the times of old C64 RPGs like Ultima. The successful Kickstarter campaign raised nearly $ 130,000 in early 2017. The RPG should have appeared at the end of 2017 because it was said to be quite advanced.

What's going on there?

However, there were always shifts and the backers of the campaign were getting impatient because nothing of the title was shown anymore. On January 1st, the two-person studio released a new update. The game is still not finished, but if fans want it in 2020, at least 50% of Kickstarter supporters should donate $ 5 to $ 10 a month. If this is not the case, the development will take even longer. However, nothing new was shown from the game.

This has created some excitement among fans who are starting to feel cheated. Without proof that the game is still being worked on and without information about the status of the project, money should now be given monthly in good faith. Many don't see that. The team wants to comment on the situation again in January. Maybe then something from the indie RPG Unknown Realm will be shown.
